Features
STEDAIR® 3000 meets and exceeds the requirements of the standards NFPA 1971-2000 Edition, CGSB 155.1 and BNQ
STEDAIR® 3000 offers protection against:
- Blood-borne pathogens ASTM F1670 and ASTM F1671
- Five common chemicals
- Battery acid
- Hydraulic fluid
- Gasoline - fuel C
- Aqueous film forming foam (AFFF)
- Chlorinated water
- Water penetration
THL (total heat loss)
The total heat loss requirement in NFPA 1971-2000 edition has a minimum requirement of 130 watts per square meter.
STEDAIR® 3000 performance exceeds this requirement and obtains 244.8 watts per square meter when tested with Defender 750 and Caldura SL thermal liner.
STEDAIR® 3000 ePTFE based moisture barriers offers the best THL results when laminated to Dupont's E89.
TPP (Thermal Protective Performance)
The TPP requirement in the NFPA 1971-2000 edition has a minimum requirement of 35 Cal/cm2.

Construction
STEDAIR® 3000 ePTFE moisture barrier is engineered at Stedfast using Dupont's Proven substrate E89, and our bi-component lamination and coating technology incorporating an ePTFE membrane from BHA Technologies.
The result is a high performance light weight moisture barrier, with excellent durability.
